It can be difficult to find the right way to support your child with their maths.
We all know how important it is as a subject and many parents want to help, but just don’t know where to start.

It is important that your child does the main 12 questions entirely without help from you or anyone else. This is so that we give your child the right questions at the right time to build their knowledge as effectively as possible. It also stops the questions getting too hard too quickly.

If your child will let you, help with the practice questions at the end. Encourage them to get 3 of each type correct.

All children are different and you will know what will work best for you and your child. As teachers we think mathematics is its own reward! – but if extra motivation is needed then the dashboard will help you set some targets and offer incentives.
