Arc Maths is a great lesson starter, intervention activity or homework. It reinforces the core maths skills that are taught in UK secondary schools typically between the ages of 11-16. Many teachers will already be recapping previous work within lessons, but there are several benefits to using Arc Maths in schools:
Arc Maths provides personalised learning. It tracks each student’s knowledge base and targets questions individually. Any topics that have been forgotten in one session are revisited at the next session, and then systematically returned to with increasing time elapses until the knowledge is secure.
Teachers do not have to create their own sets of questions thereby reducing time spent on lesson preparation. Get students to start a lesson with Arc Maths and free up those critical minutes at the start of a lesson that can be required to deal with the unexpected.
When a pupil gets a question wrong, there is an opportunity to practise similar questions at the end of each session. Follow-up work is generated automatically rather than being set by the teacher.
Tracking attainment and progress is a useful by-product of using Arc Maths.
Regular use will give a clear indication of a pupil’s attainment, their progress and effort.
We offer significant discounts to schools and educational institutions. All pupils are able to register themselves using a code and their school email, thereby keeping the administration to an absolute minimum.
